Digital Goods & Subscriptions
AI Fate Games provides digital content and (once launched) subscription access that is delivered and usable immediately. As a general rule, subscription fees and digital purchases are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or covered by the exceptions below.
Paid features are not currently available, but we intend to introduce subscriptions and other paid features. This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations will work once payments are live, and is intended to be read together with the billing section of our Terms of Service.
1. General Policy
Subscriptions are digital services delivered immediately and consumed over the billing period. Because of this, subscription fees and digital purchases are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except as required by applicable consumer-protection law or as set out below.
2. Partial Periods & Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to premium features until that date. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time within a billing period, except where required by law. After cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged again.
3. When a Refund May Apply
We will review refund requests in good faith. A refund may be granted in cases such as:
- Duplicate charge: you were billed more than once for the same order.
- Non-delivery: payment succeeded but the purchased access was never added to your account.
- Technical failure: a confirmed error on our side prevented you from accessing what you paid for.
- Unauthorized transaction: a charge you did not authorize, reported promptly.
- Any case where a refund is required by applicable law.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] and include:
- Your username or registered email address
- The order or transaction reference
- The date and amount of the payment
- A clear description of the issue
We will review your request and respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.
5. Payment Processing
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. In some cases the processor may handle refunds or billing disputes directly under its own terms. We do not store your full card details.
6. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where the law grants you a non-waivable right to a refund, that right takes precedence over the general policy described above.
